Client Wins: Marriage-Based Green Card Approval

We are pleased to announce that the spouse of our U.S. citizen client has been approved for a marriage-based green card.

In this case, we simultaneously filed Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, and Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. This approach streamlines the adjustment of status process for individuals already in the U.S.

To allow our client’s spouse to work and travel while the green card application was pending, we also submitted Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and Form I-131, Application for Travel Document. These forms provided the necessary permissions during the waiting period.

After the I-130 petition was approved, USCIS reviewed the I-485 application, including background checks and an interview. We supported our clients throughout the process, and represented them during the interview.
